Nontraditional Drug-free Model of Successful Recovery

A natural approach to a

healthy life

Testimonials from Parents

I would like to thank the Narconon program for giving my son back to me. Just like a Mother who sees her child dying little by little from a fatal disease, I was witnessing life being progressively drained from my son's soul. Drugs, alcohol and all the dark thoughts that go with it, gnawing at his and our family's life for five years. When I went to bed at night and he wasn't home, I would wonder in what state he would come in. Or again, I was afraid that the police would come knocking at our door to announce the worst on his behalf. I was aware of the research that L.Ron Hubbard had done on drugs and how to help someone to get out of drugs for good. I was aware also that Narconon, the program that uses his discoveries, had a high rate of success. That is why my husband and I decided to bring our son here. And we have no regrets about it. After the program I recognize my son as the same he was before he started consuming. He is himself again, and now a real communication as been established within the family. From where I stand, Narconon saved my son's life and I am very grateful. I would like to thank the devoted staff members there that make it so that people who want to quit, do and become contributing members of society instead of a destructive element in it.
Sincerely,
G. B. Vancouver, BC

I would like to acknowledge all the staff at Narconon for the wonderful work they did with my daughter.

My daughter was a drug addict and a run away child. She started running away from home at the age of 13 and from that moment everything became "dark" around her. I remember watching her as she was going down the spiral and more miserable and it was scary. In 1997 she ran away to Vancouver and there she became a heroin addict. On March 27, 1998, I got a call from the Toronto General Hospital, telling me that she was there due to an overdose and that she was not breathing. Her dad and I went there to get her back home, we tried to help her along with the help of a friend of ours, a well trained consultant (not trained in addiction) but this did not work. On June 4, 1998, I got a called from one of the Narconon Montreal staff whom I know for 20 years, but my daughter had left again. He gave me the name and telephone number of a man in Toronto in case she would call , which she did on June 22, 1998. I persuaded her to go see him and it worked. That night she was on the bus back home and the Narconon staff was at the bus stop the next morning.

Now almost a year later, she is happier she knows that there is something she can do to change the world instead of being angry and do nothing except going down with it. She is so positive and beautiful that sometime I just find myself staring at her with so much admiration.

Narconon Montreal did a wonderful job with their technology. I also want to thank the Narconon staff that helped us get her home for his persistence and care. I want to thank him also for helping us as parents.

I can go on and on about it but the truth is that my daughter is now herself and strong as she is she will make a difference on this planet.

Thank you all,
S. G. Vancouver, BC
